Quick answers to questions you may have
Do you stock spare parts for stoves?
Yes. We can supply replacement consumables including rope seals, glass, firebricks and grates for most stoves. Contact us with your stove make and model and we will let you know what is available.
Do you service stoves you did not install?
Yes. We are happy to service any solid fuel or pellet stove regardless of where it was purchased or installed. Get in touch to arrange an appointment.
Do you offer chimney sweep services?
Yes. We offer a professional chimney sweep service for homes in Ashford and the surrounding areas. We recommend at least one sweep per year for regular users and two sweeps for heavy winter use. Contact us to book.
How often should I service my stove?
We recommend servicing once a year if you burn wood, and twice a year if you burn other fuels such as smokeless coal. An annual service is the minimum we’d advise – it keeps your stove running safely and efficiently, protects your warranty, and is often a condition of your home and contents insurance. Ideally, book your service at the end of the burning season, before summer.
Do I need to buy accessories from you or can I use my own?
You are welcome to source your own accessories. We stock what we do because we have chosen products we are confident in – but there is no obligation to purchase accessories from us.
